We want to be able to tell you exactly why we're here and what we're doing here. Why are we of value to the Internet?

Well, let's start by getting rid of 'we' and going to 'I'. My name is Garry Egan and I created this website.

How It Started

The concept for this site started when I wanted to compare netbooks between a few vendors. I saw some television advertising and really like the HP Mini but wasn't completely sold just yet. So, like many others, I went searching for information.

No Information Readily Available

I combed through pages and pages of results only to be met with pages and pages of ADS and actual BUYING pages, not the reviews themselves.

Links To Products

Whenever possible, I try to link to a product page where I have a relationship with that manufacturer to receive a commission (small, trust me) if any customer that I refer to the manufacturer site actually BUYS the product within a given time period within a certain browser session, blah blah. This hardly makes any money if any at all. I did not build this site to make money from the sale of the products or click advertising.

A Hub For People To Collaborate

Wouldn't it be great if there was a spot you could go to when considering your next purchase where previous purchasers could post up their actual review? You could read those reviews and become informed. You wouldn't have to search around for more and more sources across the Internet.
