Starting at only $299, this lightweight mobile companion weighs in at only 2.6 pounds and is only 1.3 inches thick. Although a tad bigger than its predecessor, the Mini 1000, this new design made some daring improvements but with a lower price tag. This 10.1 inch anti-glare widescreen model has upgraded their slow spinning hard drive from 4,200-rpm to a 5,400-rpm with options to upgrade.

Other options to upgrade is the 23Wh battery to a 55-Wh battery which is comparable to other models on the market. Another smart move for this Netbook is the 92% keyboard making typing problem-free. The picture quality is great for movie viewing or games. To top it all off, this models includes with it the Syncables Desktop solution, allowing effortless synchronization of files between the HP Mini and any primary PC or Notebook.
